Jessica Marquez is the author of Stitched Gifts and the woman behind the company Miniature Rhino. We are thrilled to welcome her amazing embroidery kits to our line up of inspiring craft supplies!
My personal favorite are her zodiac sign kits. Each adorably packaged kit contains all you need to stitch up your star sign on blue fabric. Amber already stitched up her sign of Taurus (above) and it looks perfect!
We also stock these Miniature Rhino kits for an alphabet sampler and arrows. These make great gifts and are quick to stitch up. The wooden embroidery hoop also makes a great frame for instant wall art.
If you want to add a bit of handcrafted bling to your wardrobe, you should probably pick up a cross stitch pin kit. These kits include thread and instructions for stitching every letter of the alphabet as well as several other designs onto a wooden pin.
Jessica was kind enough to stitch up a "J" for me and i love it! Thanks, Jessica!

Better Know A Crafter: Allison Page
Allison is just about the most adorable crafter we know. She recently moved back to Denver and has been crafting up a storm with her knitting and sewing ever since we met her. She recently picked up one of our cross-stitch iPhone cases and amazed us by creating her own magical unicorn design.
Tell us about making your sweet unicorn phone case!
I made a cross-stitched iPhone case. I looked at a unicorn picture and just sketched it out on graph paper, it grew from there.
How did you learn to do what you do?
I cross- stitched when I was younger. My mom bought me my first kit. When I saw these iPhone cases come out I knew I had to get stitchin' again.
What is your favorite animal?
Sloths and dogs.
Thanks Allison! Happy stitching and knitting!

I'm a librarian but my #1 passion is crafting. I come from a long line of crafters--my mom and grandma are awesome. My fav craft is knitting. Thanks to Fancy Tiger I'm starting to sew!

Better Know A Crafter: Rhiannon Sherman
We love the quilt that Rhiannon brought by to show us. She just finished stitching up this pretty cross-stitched butterfly quilt and backed it with a bright orange sprout fabric. The detail of the front of her quilt is inspiring--we don't often see a quilt with this much intricate hand-stitching. Nice work, Rhiannon!
My grandmother taught me how to do all different crafts. I still, after 20 years, enjoy it.
How did you make your butterfly quilt?
I used a cross stitch/quilting pattern.
What is your favorite animal?
Birds.
Thanks Rhiannon! Happy quilting

Severija Inčirauskaitė-Kriaunevičienė: Hot Cross Stitching!
We are totally inspired by this and had to share it! Severija Inčirauskaitė-Kriaunevičienė is Lithuanian artist who takes everyday metal objects and transforms them by piercing the metal and covering it with cross stitch. Check out more of Severija's work here.
