Fiber Fieldtrip!

Over the weekend i went to the Western Slope of Colorado and visited two fiber farms! One was Suris of the Western Slope in Ridgway - home to 85 Suri Alpacas and 1 Camel! It was baby season so there were lots of adorable and tiny baby alpacas and Cupcakes the camel was super sweet! Next we traveled to Norwood and Pinyon Pines farm to see a herd of Shetland sheep and more alpacas! Peg who owns Pinyon Pines handspins all of her fiber! It was amazing. There were, of course more babies, so we were able to cuddle with some 2 week old lambs! Cute!

It was crazy here at the Amy Butler Trunk Show! The only picture i had time to snap was before it all happened of our adorable Button Cookies! Recipe was from Martha Stewart - buttons holes were made with a straw! So Cute! Thanks to everyone who attended!

Diana Rupp Came to Town!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Sew Everything Workshop booksigning and sewing project with Diana Rupp! Diana hung out and assisted us in making adorable sewn cards. Twinkle Yarn is IN!!

Twinkles's Soft Chunky yarn is probably my favorite yarn ever. A super soft merino wool yarn that knits up on a size 17 needle and comes in absolutely luscious colors! Its finally here, and with two books of pattern support, you really don't have any excuse not to be knitting!

Cute Dolls

Oh man, its been softies crazy over here at Fancy Tiger. I will be posting pictures each week of some of the cuteness. This week its this adorable sheep from Aranzi Aronzo's Fun Dolls (also the author of Cute Dolls). The body is made with super soft organic shepra and the face and legs from wool felt. I think it'd make a great baby or kids doll. Or you may need to keep it for yourself.
