i've been really lazy in posting last weeks pictures, but better late then never. Jackalopes invades craft night so you can imagine the chaos that ensued.

It was a sweeet soft rock craft night with the smooth sounds of my favorite soft rock bands providing the soundtrack for a productive evening. Check it out!

ADCD Paper Fashion Show!

Here are the long-awaited pictures from the ADCD Paper Fashion Show. A group of Craft-Nighters made two paper dresses that were sooo awesome!! We incorporated traditional crafts such as linoleum block-printing and knitting! Cute!

Super-fun Craft Night!! More new faces and some ADORABLE things were being made. It was also the preview party for our paper dresses. Members of craft night have been working for over a month creating two amazing dresses out of paper. These dresses will be entered in the ADCD Paper Fashion Show Thursday March 8th, at the Oriental Theater. Stay tuned for more pictures of the Paper Fashions!!

Our craft night numbers were reduced due to so many people going to see Vickie Howell! Those that did make it were rallied to help us work on our paper fashion project! We had tons of paper yarn to make!! We paid (bribed) people in Thin Mints and Robin's Eggs. The FREE preview party for our two paper garments will be next Tuesday during Craft Night. It will be free and there is no need to participate in craft night to attend! The Official Show is Thursday March 8th at the Oriental Theater - Tickets are $25 so we wanted to offer friends a chance to view our creations for free. See you then!!

Another sweet craft night. K, D, E and i are busy working on our Paper Fashion Show entry - fittings were done and its looking CUTE! Triplet birthdays meant THREE adorable stuffed dogs were made - special thanks to J and E for their help! Also in the works - needlepoint dog collars, cabled hats, sparkly sweaters and a hand-quilted kitchen rug.

Sweeet. Look at all the fabulousness. A sweater was FINISHED, more name-tags were made by newcomers, and i learned to crochet. Photos were taken to enter into a messiest craft space photo contest sponsored by Adorn Magazine. They will be posted later. Trust me, they were sweeeet.
