Cat Nap: Craft Up Some Cattitude!

Oh boy its finally here! Lizzy House's latest collection Cat Nap has arrived. It's almost like this collection was speaking directly to Fancy Tiger's soul. With smiling cats, mischievous mice, dancing butterflies and all around adorableness Cat Nap has won our hearts! We can't wait to craft up new shirts, dresses, bags, and quilts with Cat Nap. According to Amber, you can never have too many cat dresses. There are 3 perfectly suited color stories available. Per usual, these prints compliment her Pearl Bracelets fabrics--don't worry we still have some in stock that coordinate perfectly!

Swoon...new Nani Iro fabrics are here!

Naomi Ito is the woman behind some of our favorite designs - Nani Iro. She never fails to impress with her subtle, painterly style and interesting compositions. Pencil-drawn herringbone, splashes of metallic, watercolor-bleed dots, we love them all so much! Double-gauze and feather-light Wata-gauze form the perfect base cloth for these ethereal, stylish designs. Enough talking...we have a lot of sewing to do!

New Brussels Washer Yarn Dyed Fabric

We are already sewing up a storm with these hot new fabrics. Beautiful, drapey, flowy Brussels Washer Yarn Dyed fabrics from Robert Kaufman are here. These fabrics are a 55% Linen, 45% Rayon blend which makes for extra dreamy summery goodness. The muted colors are made from using an un-dyed yarn for the weft and a dyed yarn for the warp. We stock all 8 colors of this 52" wide lusciousness for your sewing pleasure. The best part of this fabric? It is so affordable at only $10 a yard!

These fabrics would be great for dresses, skirts, napkins, or pillows. I am excited to make a Staple Dress out of this fabric in the olive-y green color.

Fresh, Pretty Fabrics!

Loads of lovely spring fabrics are here, including three new collections that have all of us at Fancy swooning...

Mixteca from illustrator Eleanor Grosch is crisp and bold with hot colors and geometrics inspired by Native American motifs. Mixteca is part of Cloud 9 Organic's price-sensitive line, which means this eco-friendly fabric runs about the same price as conventionally grown cotton prints. How can you resist that!

Marisa of Creative Thursday just released her new collection, Locally Grown, full of adorable farmy goodness, like sheep, goats, chickens and tomatoes. We see Locally Grown knitting project bags in our future!
