Denyse has also been working on a new book, Modern Quilts Traditional Inspiration, which will be here April 1st! We can't wait--we loved her previous book, simply titled Quilts, and it is still one of our favorite references for modern quilting.
Denyse Schmidt's quilt designs are indeed modern--but as her new book title suggests she is also heavily influenced by quilting traditions.
