We are really gearing up for fall here at Fancy Tiger Crafts and we feel like this fall is going to be all about stripes! Amber, Emily and I have each recently made ourselves some new duds out of stripes and we'd like to share all of the stripey goodness with you.
I made myself another Schoolhouse Tunic using our hemp/organic cotton denim stripe fabric. This fabric has a nice weight to it so this tunic will be perfect for chilly fall weather!
Emily made a bias cut A-line skirt out of black ticking. If you are unfamiliar with ticking, it is an olde-timey fabric traditionally used for bedding and we love it's classic stripey style!
Amber designed this pattern for an adorable "Sailor Shirt" and she also used the black ticking. This shirt is oh-so-cute and easy, its sews up in a flash.
Yay for stripes and yay for new fall clothes! Hi-five!
wow you ladies look great.
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration to get back to sewing clothes. Now if I can just do as good a job as Emily did in matching the stripes.
ReplyDeleteah, you are all too adorable! your stripes look great, girls!
